My Hand-dyed Fabrics
Each piece is unique and rich with color. Sometime I have to fight the urge to name them and frame them. I try to tweak to photos to represent the colors as accurately as possible, but it's very difficult to capture all of the layers of color in these.
I hope that my fabrics delight you and that you'll find lots of little surprises in the patterns -- I know I do. I'm always finding little pictures as I iron these -- LOL!

Oh, man, the folded pieces are unbelievable! These are just getting better and better. #112 is my fave! I just love your work.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous fabrics. My favorites are 121, 118, 82 and 7. I grew up in Chesterland, Ohio so I remember the lake effect. Now I'm in Maine so I get the coastal effect!

ReplyDeleteI've had a really hard time narrowing it down to one favorite, but I think mine is #83. You sure have a lot of nice fabrics here! And such beautiful work! I wish we had more snow here, so I could dye.

ReplyDeleteThese pieces are totally exquisitely gorgeous! I want every single one! I can't imagine cutting them up for quilts though. I love them all, especiallly #s 24, 41, 55, 71, 90, and my favorite is 112.
ReplyDeleteThere has been a lot of discussion of snow dyeing this winter, but your work is the most beautiful I have seen. I would love to see a description of how you do it, and how you get these fabulous patterns. I live in Israel - just about zero snow here! I am going to try rust dyeing instead.

This was way too hard to choose since they are all scrumptious! But put me down for 92. You are surely the queen of snow dyeing!

ReplyDeleteI once turned down a job in Orchard Park, NY because of the lake effect. Just couldn't face that much snow. That was before I had heard about snow dyeing. It looks like so much fun. It must be like Christmas to see what you've got at the end. Almost too hard to pick a favorite but I would love #73 if picked. That would be awesome.
