My Journey through the worlds of art quilts, oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, printmaking, dyeing, encautic, art cloth, spinning, and weaving.
Also sharing stories of the rescue dogs I've known and loved.
I don't know what this is. I love it, but I'm clueless as to it's purpose. I suspect that my Mom didn't know what it was when she bought it for me, but she was probably pretty sure that I would love it. And I do. It's some sort of wood and it appears that it's been hollowed out by hand. It's is almost 2 feet tall and about a foot across the top. If I turn it over, it looks like the stump of a not-so-small-tree. In the spirit of the Yarn Harlot, I will use it to stash yarn.
Awesome -- it holds about 10 big ball and many little balls.
