Santa smelled funny
Took the kiddos to the TJay's Union Christmas party. Brendan 'knows' the truth about Santa. He was, however impressed that Santa had a real beard. But then he told me that Santa really smelled funny. In what way, I asked. Like pee, he replied. I explained that it was from all the little kids that sat on his lap. (I hope...)

Hi Gisela!
I know you've had a very, very difficult time this holiday season. It is really heart-breaking to read about your beloved Uncle's condition. I do hope that he recovers to a point where happier memories flood his mind. I also feel desperately for your artistic integrity over the lovely Celtic patterned floor that you worked so very hard to produce only to have a terribly "bad" neighbor include his Sharpie marker signature. That is just nasty. Yet, I'm writing today because I haven't heard from you since last February when we arranged to trade fiber postcards for CYBER FYBER. You requested Postcard # 35. We exchanged a couple of messages back around February 10 and 11 finalizing the trade. We wrote about our common German heritage and Ohio roots. I mailed my postcard. Last month, on December 8, I wrote a "reminder" message to the email address you used in February. To be honest, I have no idea whether you sent a postcard or not. With over 400 postcards and ATCs traded all over the world, a few did get lost. Maybe yours did. I also have no idea whether you received my email last month. All I really know is that the exhibition opens on Friday, January 9 and there's still a spot for your postcard. Please write and let me know what I should do.
Thanks!
Here's to the coming year....may it be positive and full of wonderful art!
Susan
