In other news , I finally set up a design wall using 2 inch pink insulation foamboard, 4 foot x 8 foot. Duct tape hinges and stapled on an old flannel sheet. There's enough sheet behind it to add another 4 feet of wall.
Crammed it in front of the china hutch...
And slapped a WIP up on it!

Beautiful table. To cut and fit all those pieces is totally amazing! Well Done!
Beautiful, beautiful coffee table! Your husband IS an artist!
Tell your husband he is so too an artist :o) and arguing about it isn't going to change it. What an amazing piece of work!
Wow. The table is amazing. What a blessing to have a talented husband.

Wow! This is a beautiful table! WTG to your husband!
Beautiful table! TJay should be very proud of his handiwork. My dad and mother took up woodworking in their retirement and made hardwood glass topped tables. We all have some of them and they are beautiful! We treasure them.
Yours is a different kind of beautiful!
Have you seen the guy who carves quilts out of wood and then paints them? You would swear its a quilt and you just want to touch it!

Thanks so much, Lynn!
WOW! The wooden quilts are amazing (so is the price tag!) I love that he uses silk dyes instead of paint - the effect is really lovely!
