Lots of talk on the Quilting Arts and Dyer's lists about snow-dyeing, so I'm jumping right in.
Plenty of snow to work with!
Soda ash soaked fabric in tubs covered with about 4-5 inches of snow.I let these sit outside for an hour or so.
In the garage and squirted with MX dyes.
Some pieces of scrim that I had also tucked under the snow.
Just in case I need some yucky colored fabric...
