Knitty Olympics

I cast on for the YarnHarlot's Knitting Olympics the other night, although the odds of my finishing my first sweater in 17 day are...well, not so good. That' s ok, at least it's a knitting first for me.

The Yarn
I bought this mix at a lovely little yarn shop in northern Michigan, but the pattern was incomprehensible.

I can really break in the electric ball winder that DH got me for Christmas.
